WRPCO temporarily closing boat landing along Petenwell flowage
Wisconsin River Power Co. (WRPCO) will temporarily close the 7th Street boat landing and parking area
on Feb. 26. The boat landing is located southeast of the intersection of 7th Street E and N Porter Road
in the town of Armenia.
WRPCO is temporarily closing the area to upgrade the boat ramp and reduce erosion on the nearby
shoreline. The project will include adding a rock barrier to prevent sediment from accumulating at the
landing, allowing it to remain open throughout the recreation season.
Work on the boat landing is expected to be completed this spring.
